Advertising Rate Policies

All rates are non-commissionable.

To receive a contract rate, an advertiser must have a signed contract.

Payment terms are net 15. All payments are due and payable in full by the 15th of the month following month of service and any unpaid balance after that is subject to a finance charge of 18% APR until paid in full. Any past due balance is a violation of the terms for extending credit privileges and can result in those privileges being withdrawn.

All new accounts are payable in advance until you have established credit with us. To establish credit, a credit application must be filled out and signed by an authorized owner, partner or officer of advertising and approved by the Enquirer-Herald.

All political, transient, "Going Out of Business," "Liquidation Sale," or advertising of a similar nature are payable in advance of publication.

If legal process is required to collect any past due amount, you will be responsible for payment to the Enquirer-Herald for all reasonable legal fees resulting.

All claims for adjustments must be made within 10 days after publication.

The Enquirer-Herald will provide a proof of your ad at no additional cost if your ad exceeds 15 inches and is submitted by the proof deadline. Proofs are for correction of errors only and not to deviate from original copy and layout. Ask your sales representative for proof deadline schedule.
